Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Certification as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent credentials preferred.
The primary purpose of the Assistant Coordinator (POCT) position is to coordinate initial training; competency assessment, monitor quality control, instrument maintenance, and proficiency testing activities of the Point of Care Programs including but not limited to Finger Stick-Glucose, Blood Gas, ACT, Urine Pregnancy, Urinalysis, Rapid HIV, Amniotic Fluid pH, and Sweat Chloride.
