Salary Range:

YS-24S: $61,209.00 - $73,130.00 - $85,046.00


Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field plus three (3) years of progressively more responsible experience in coordinating administrative and fiscal activities. Grants management and billing/CPT coding experience are highly desirable. Clinical background also highly desirable. Clinical Research Certification is desirable. Ability to interact with all levels of administration essential. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Demonstrated organization and communication skills. Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office components and databases required. Experience with electronic medical records and clinical billing systems strongly preferred. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year to year basis.


Responsibilities:  The primary purpose of the Billing Compliance Analyst position is to manage the clinical research billing and research revenue collection operations at University Hospital to include registration of all clinical research studies, completion UH clinical procedure codes and rates on billing plans, monthly invoicing of UH billing for clinical research services, tracking of study payment status, and completion of reports under the supervision of the Administrative Director. Works with Affiliate Clinical Research Offices, University Hospital administrators, Finance Office staff, and Research team members to ensure compliance with University Hospital billing policies and procedures and associated state and federal regulations.
