Qualifications: MBA or MPH, or other advanced degree in business management, data science, statistics or computer science required.  Five (5) years of experience in data or statistical analysis, data manipulation and mathematical and causal modeling required.  Familiarity with technologies such as Python, SSIS, SSAS, Tableau, Excel, is preferred.  Requires SQL skills.  Strong knowledge base of the Microsoft stack and suite of tools.  Knowledge of Data science methodologies, Economic acumen, Predictive modeling, Statistical and quantitative analysis, Machine learning experience highly desirable.  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally and written effectively.  Ability to communicate with the business for requirements and presentation of findings.  Ability to be innovative and creative.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail.  Ability to lean new tools and concepts quickly.  Self-Starter, ability to come up with solutions for loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection.

 

Responsibilities: The Director Clinical and Business Analytics is responsible for the creation, development, and communication of organizational analysis, data mining, and pattern-recognition capabilities; provides specialized analytics and data driven insights to business units throughout the organization; and uses large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization, and builds models to test the effectiveness of various courses of action.

 

This position is a critical linchpin for linking data from multiple systems including electronic medical records, quality reporting software, financial systems and clinical support systems.  This position will work closely with directors and executives across the organization to understand available systems and data in order to prepare automated reports to facilitate key organizational strategic objectives.  The position assists in defining and developing data analytic methods and processes to support executives and directors in improving operational performance and exploring new opportunities.

 

In the realm of analytics, the position is responsible for full life-cycle of large/long-term highly complex projects and typically manages multiple projects of varying complexities. Based on expert technical knowledge, skills, and experience, develops broad-based solutions involving multifaceted technologies, and business processes.  Leads overall strategy, design & architecture for solutions to meet analytical needs.  Must be able to draft and execute a Software Project Management Plan (SPMP).

 

Responsible for providing insights and recommendations using statistical and quantitative analysis coupled with explanatory and predictive modeling to drive focused decision making.
