TS1175: Probationary Rate: $13.33 - Job Rate: $13.83 - Two-Year Rate: $14.24
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. One (1) year of experience in the preparation of foods from a grill in a high-volume setting required. National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification is required, or must obtain ServSafe Protection Certificate within first 6 to 12 months of employment, and maintain throughout employment. Ability to read, write and understand English fluently enough to perform the duties of the position required. Customer service and hospitality-oriented. Ability to handle cash and operate cash register. Knowledge of simple math and basic adding machine procedures.
Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the Grill Worker position is to prepare and serve all food from the grill area (grill/fryers) from either the Cafeteria Grill or Main Kitchen Grill area. May also be required to prepare food items for future concepts and catering services as deemed necessary by the unit management. The duties of this position also include the performance of the food service worker function on a daily basis.
