Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university and New Jersey licensure as an LCSW with experience doing case management and community outreach required.  Two (2) years’ experience working with trauma survivors from underserved populations required.  Excellent documentation and clinical skills, ability to set priorities, work independently, excellent follow-up, work well under pressure and deadlines.  Must be able to move between and integrate assertive outreach, clinical case management, and trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health interventions with survivors of violent crime.  Must demonstrate cultural humility and a strengths-based, recovery philosophy.  Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills a must.  Bilingual Spanish preferred.


Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the TRC Director the incumbent will recruit, orient and train new TRC clinical staff to provide assertive outreach, clinical case management, and trauma-informed, evidence-based psychotherapy services to acute survivors of violent crime. The incumbent will also develop policies and procedures to direct clinical practice, monitor patient flow, and develop/maintain community partnerships. The incumbent will carry a caseload of individual patients and may facilitate group treatment as well.
