Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in computer information systems supporting end-user computing, preferably in a Hospital setting, including experience in analysis, system implementation and support required. Current Epic ODBA Certification is required. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for Epic Cache database maintenance and support, Unix/Enterprise storage support and advanced Unix shell script programming. The position involves an in-depth knowledge of Epic Cache database technologies, security and design concepts. May lead Epic servers team participation on organizational projects and initiatives as assigned. Mentors other team members and provides technical expertise to support organizational requirements. Performs Epic applications upgrades as required.
